Max & Meena Toddler Maxaloones Sewing Project

Another pair of Maxaloones grow with me pants.  These should fit Little Miss until she's 5!

Tools and Materials:

The most difficult bit out of the way first, pinning the bum circle.

Sewn and overlocked.

Pressed and top stitched.

Side and inside leg seams.

Leg bands next, folded and sewn along the long side.

I use a straight stitch and press the seam flat to reduce bulk.

Then fold the leg bands back on themselves.

Belly band next, folded and sewn.

Pressed flat - straight stitch again to keep the bulk in check.

Folded back on it'self to make a tube.

Leg and belly bands pinned and sewn in place.

  1. Hi! Those are really cool pants and certainly worth the effort if they'll fit for a couple of years! Thanks so much for linking up to TGIFF!

  2. These are really cute. They remind me of some pirate pants I made for my grandson. Not sure they got worn much though as the kids grow so fast!
